While I still love this play after seeing it multiple times with different casts, I have to say this wasn't the strongest cast I've seen. The actress playing Velma was much stronger compared to Christie Brinkley, who was just okay. She clearly had to 'hold back' on her numbers when she dueted with Atreyu, who is not a singer or dancer by trade. I know Atreyu has had good reviews on Broadway & in London, so who knows. Otherwise, it was a pleasant show, but not as good as others I've seen over the years.
